calls for the ball. “Going undefeated in our first season gives the team great
confidence going into next season,” said Fernandez.

Driving to the hoop, sixth grader Kevin Garcia gets around his opponent with the rim in his sight. Garcia played point guard for the
team during their undefeated season. “As each game and day went by, we grew closer together through the hours at practice and our
games during the season,” said Garcia.
