Running to Success

Putting all his force into the swing, seventh grader Michael Martelly sets up for the
throw. Martelly was the best thrower for the team with a 32’1” record in shot put.
Pushing until the finish, eighth grader Nikolas Mora runs the 100m dash. Mora was Coasting in first place, eighth grader Austin San Juan dominates the 4x800m relay in the Respect Life Invitational. San Juan
consistently the team’s best sprinter through the entire season with a record of 26.98 qualified for the FLYRA State Championship in the 3000m, 1500m and was part of the 4x800m relay. He placed 7th place in
in the 200m dash. the 3000m run at the FLYRA State Championship.
