The Beginning of a Legacy



           Varsity water polo had a strong season
           finishing with a record of 20-5. They won all                                                    By: Alec Rodriguez and Jorge Garcia
           five of their games in the Wildcat Water Polo
           Tournament, and were victorious in all three
           games in the Ransom Everglades Water Polo
           Invitational. They went on to win the first
           district playoff game.

            Above: Determined on scoring a goal, senior Federico Tamborrel
            gets ready to score. Tamborrel was the leading scorer for the team.
            On the opposite page: Looking for a open teammate to pass to,
            junior Matthew Pulles fends off the defense. Pulles became a
            starter his junior year.
            Treading water to attempt to block the shot, senior Erick Labrador
            looks for an open man.  Labrador was a staple at the goal for the
            past three seasons.
            Swimming towards the ball for possession, junior Maxwell
            Belisario takes advantage of the open waters.  Belisario made it a
            habit to steal the ball from the opponents
            Taking a shot attempt, sophomore Ignacio Aguilar goes for the pass.
            Aguilar came into his own during this past season.
