Taking It To The Last Meter




            Crew had a very successful season, traveling and                                                          By: Jorge Garcia
            competing at various regattas. The middle school
            team won most events and the 8+ A- boat went
            undefeated  in  every  single  race.  The  freshman
            class did well and swept the freshmen 8 and quad
            at various regattas. The varsity lightweight 8+
            won gold at the San Diego Crew Classic proving
            that this young team was a force to reckon with.

             This boat earned the number one seed in the nation in the San Diego Crew
             Classic.
             On the opposite page: Swinging up the slide, rowers seniors Jonathan
             Menedez and  Carlos Marin, and juniors Jorge Garcia and Daniel Giacosa row
             competitively in order to win.  This boat demanded a great deal of synchronicity
             to gain speed.
             Dropping their blades in the water, juniors Daniel Giacosa, Alejandro Pacios,
